I was walking in the woods one day…

I just enjoyed a wonderful long Easter weekend in the beautiful state of Washington with my family. We had so much fun hanging out together, playing cards, eating great food, reading, playing ping-pong badly, and hiking. We saw some beautiful scenery, cool wildlife, and even made friends with a few llamas.

The spring semester has been really busy and full of incredible performance opportunities. It was really nice to pause for a beat, relax, and reconnect with my parents, my siblings, and my brother-in-law.

Of course, I found time and space to practice and sing, too. There was a beautiful rustic ampitheater tucked back in the woods at Deception Pass State Park, and the house we rented had a really cool little greenhouse that I used for a practice room! I thought it might be soundproof, but my family assures me that it was most certainly NOT even a little bit soundproof. Oh well!
