What a blessing!
St. Timothy Catholic Church, Columbus OH
For the last 2 weeks, I served as the cantor for Sunday Mass at St. Timothy Catholic Church, my home parish in Columbus, Ohio. I love feeling connected to the Mass through music, and it’s such a blessing to lead the congregation in song. The regular musicians, Andrea Graves (piano/organ) and Denis Poirier (guitar), are really talented and always so welcoming. This past week, my dad joined us on the bass guitar (he’s the cool guy in the glasses in the photo), so it was extra-special to share that time with him, too.
I leave for Graz, Austria next weekend, and while I know there are lots and lots (and lots and lots) of Catholic Churches over there, I’ll miss celebrating the Mass with my family and community in my home parish.
Our parish livestreams the 11:00 Mass each Sunday, so you’re welcome to watch on the church’s site by clicking the link below. Be forewarned, the recording begins well before the Mass starts! Below the link, I’ve provided the hymn names and some approximate times to help you navigate.
